1. What type of products and services do you provide?

2. How can I get an estimate?
We have provided a handy estimate request tool for you (here),  You are also welcome to call us or make an appointment to come into our office for a free one-on-one consultation.

3. What file type is preferred when submitting a file for printing?
A PDF (Portable document Format) is the most common and preferred file for submitting digital documents. We can also accept a JPG (Joint Photographics Experts Group) A JPG is most commonly used for compressing photographic images.

4. What forms of payment do you accept? When is payment required?
We accept VISA, Master Card and Discover credit cards. Checks and cash are also acceptable methods of payment.
Payment is generally required upon completion on project and is subject to change based on project specifications and credit history.

5. At what resolution should I save my graphics files and photos?
Print ready files are our preference! Resolution should be set to at least 300 dpi. Avoid using graphics and photos obtained from online sources, they are typically 76 – 96 dpi and will appear pixilated. If you are not sure, call us.

6. What is a proof and why is it important?
A proof is a one-off copy of your document after all edits and printing setup processes have been completed. It is your last and best opportunity to make sure that the print job comes out the way you want. A careful inspection of the proof will ensure that your printed product is accurate. Ask for a copy of our proof guidelines and agreement.

7. How long will it take to complete my order?
Many basic print ready jobs are completed the same day. However, some jobs may take several days depending on the individual job specifications. When your job is submitted you will be given a completion date; rush orders will be charged an additional fee. We can also work with you to accommodate your preferred date of completion.

8. What program should I use when designing my file?
V6 prefers to have artwork submitted as a pdf or jpg.

9. Do you deliver?
In order to keep our costs at an absolute minimum and pass the savings on to our customers, we do not typically deliver. However, depending upon the agreed circumstance, arrangements can be made for limited delivery of projects.

10.Why do printed colors look different than the colors on my screen?
Printers and monitors produce colors in different ways. Monitors use the RGB (red, green, blue) color model which supports a wider spectrum of color. Printers use the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color model which can reproduce most but not all of the colors in the RGB model.
